In its management policy, the Palau de la Música Catalana, is aware of the importance of environmental protection and the continual improvement of its activities and services; for this reason it has implemented an Environmental Management System in line with the European EMAS (Eco-Management and Audit Scheme) Regulation and ISO 14001 international standard, two systems that companies and other organisations can implement to assess, inform and improve their environmental management.

In gaining obtained the ISO 14001 and EMAS certificates, the Palau de la Música Catalana aims to monitor and asses the environmental management of its buildings, activities and services, involving all employees, subcontractors and society in general, in particular the public who attend the different performances held at the Palau de la Música Catalana.
